Doris Irene Baver, 86

On Oct. 24, 2004, as the leaves of Autumn have began to change colors and the 
first snow fall has fallen on the mountain, the Lord has taken Doris Irene 
Baver, 86 of Grangeville to be with her parents, Charles and Josephine Gordon; 
brothers, Hayden and Kenneth, and her husband, Karl.

She was born outside of Nezperce on April 10, 1918. As she rode her horse, 
Topsy, along the Salmon River with her auburn hair a flying she was noticed by 
Dad, a mail stage driver. They were united in marriage, on the John Day Ranch, 
May 18, 1941.
