Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Submitted by: Kristy Taylor [muddypaw@onemain.com] Ramona Arnold, 58 Ramona Lee Arnold, 58, Moscow, and Coeur d'Alene native, passed away Thursday morning, July 15, 2004, at Aspen Park care facility. Ramona was born July 30, 1945, in Coeur d'Alene to Thomas and Alice Fisher Humphrey. She grew up and attended school in Coeur d'Alene and then graduated with a degree in hotel and restaurant management from Lewis-Clark State College. Ramona worked as a florist and pastry chef at the Ramada in Lewiston. She loved Elvis and would let everyone know when his birthday was and thought it should be a national holiday. Ramona also enjoyed painting, drawing and flowers. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Debbie (Rasmussen) and Michael White of Coeur d'Alene, Teresa and Terry Banks, McCall; son David Duthie and wife Christina; mother Alice Mackey, Lewiston; sisters Sandy, Mary and Joan; grandchildren Mathew Parsons, Caitlin Fuller and Calista Duthie; and great-granddaughter Anna Hambright. Her first husband Anthony L. Rasmussen Sr. and son Anthony L. Rasmussen Jr., as well as her stepfather Jack Mackey, preceded Ramona in death. The family has asked memorials to be made to Kootenai County Humane Society or the Children's Village in Coeur d'Alene. A gathering will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 31 at the Coeur d'Alene home of Debbie White, 1890 E. Jabbra.
