WHITE, ROSA BOGGS Keowee Courier, January 29, 1949 Submitted by: Susan Brock-Booker Mrs. Rosa B. White Mrs. Rosa B. White, 82, died suddenly at her home inthe New Hope community Saturday morning at 10:30. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Brandon, of Spartanburg, and Mrs. Alloe Wyatt, of Seneca; three sons, Ed White, Charles K. White, of Seneca, and Lucius F. White, of Pickens. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Tilda Brandley, of Greenville; Mrs. Lydia Galbreath and Mrs. James Fendley, both of West Union; and Mrs. George S. Alexander of Liberty. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services were held at New Hope Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Ernest Sorrells and the Rev. Veldee Elliott and the Rev. R. M. Hartsell conducted the services. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Active pallbearers were R. F. Nalley, Eugene Boggs, Homer Boggs, George Wyatt, Claude Morgan, L. M. McCall. Flower girls included Irene Walker, Bobbie Ruth McCall, Mrs. James Burkett, Virginia Smith, Winfred Miller, Betty Jane Boggs, Martha Nalley, Doris Mauldin.
