Obituary of VAUGHN, LEOLA TURNER  1985 Oconee County, SC

    Walhalla---Mrs. Leola Turner Vaughn, 73, of Route 1, Westminster Highway, 
wie of Joseph Ernest Vaughn Sr., died Friday at the home of her son.  Born in 
Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Benson and Lula Lee Turner.  She 
was a homemaker and a member of PEL Sunday school class of College Street 
Baptist Church.  Surviving are her widower; sons, Leon Vaughn of Powdersville, 
J. E. Jr., and Dalton Vaughn of Walhalla; sisters, Mrs. Mildred James of Long 
Creek and Mrs. Connie Miller of Seneca; and five grandchildren.  Services were 
at 3 p. m. at College Street Baptist Church, conducted by Revs. Roy  Burgner 
and George Tichenor.  Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.  
Davenport Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
