    WILLIAMSTON - Joe Anderson Vaughn, 79 of 108 W. Second St., husband of 
Annie Ruth Hicks Vaughn, died Sunday, March 24, 1991 at his home.  Born in 
Oconee County, he was a son of the late Waddie Thompson and Della Susan Hughes 
Vaughn. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, retired from Kendall Mills and 
a member of Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.  Surviving are widow; 
son, Charles Vaughn of Alpine, Texas; daughters, Helen Poore and Judy Owens of 
Seneca; stepsons, Billy Joe Hammonds of Williamston, Haskell Hammonds of Pelzer 
and Bobby Hammonds of Greenville; sisters, Annie Moore of Pelzer, Mattie Poore 
of Central, Margie Duncan and Beulah Lee of Walhalla, Essie Smith of 
Westminster and Eula Vaughn of West Union; brother, Roy Vaughn of West Union; 
11 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
