Bill Schumacher Rites Are Held
   Funeral services for William Phidel Schumacher, 40, who died at his home 
near Seneca Thursday afternoon, were conducted at St. John's Lutheran church in 
Walhalla Saturday by the Rev. Keith Beam.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Pallbearers were E. B. Stoudemire, William Burley, Snead Schumacher, George 
Rhodes, Harry Rhodes, and Morris Seigler.  He was a son of Mrs. Annie(sic) 
Crisp Schumacher, Walhalla, and the late Otto H. Schumacher.  Besides his 
mother, survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie H. Schumacher; one daughter, 
Miss Fannie Schumacher; three sons, Bobby Schumacher, U. S. Marines, Parris 
Island;  Jimmy and Billy Schumacher, of the home; one sister, Mrs. J. P. 
Booker, Walhalla; three brothers, Paul Schumacher, Thomaston, Ga., Henry 
Schumacher, U. S. Air Force, in Turkey and Robert C. Schumacher, Walhalla.  
Ansel Funeral Home was in charge.
