Obituary of SUMMERALL, EMMA TIMMS  1948 Oconee, SC

    Mrs. Emma Summerall, 84, died at her home near Seneca Monday morning.  
Altough in declining health for a number of years, Mrs. Summerall;s death was 
unexpected.  She was the wife of the late W. M. Summerall who died a number of 
years ago.  Mrs. Summerall is survived by one brother, Oscar Timms; three 
sisters, Mrs. Jay Abbott of Lyman, Mrs. Lizzie Reeves of Oakway, and Mrs. Daner 
Thomas of Seneca; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces.  Funeral services 
were conducted at Friendship  Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock 
by the Rev. N. K. Polk.  Interment was in the family plot in the church 
cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Walker Baldwin, Chevis Sheriff, Buck 
Owens, Handy Sheriff, Hubert Terry, and Lester Burdette.  Nieces served as 
flower girls.
