Obituary of SATTERFIELD, DAVID COWAN  1992 Oconee, SC

    WALHALLA - David Cowan Satterfield, 87, of 1557 Hammond Boulevard, 
Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Walhalla, died Monday, May 4, 1992 at Baptist 
Medical Center, Jacksonville.  Born in Oconee County, he was a member of Rocky 
Knoll Baptist Church and was a farmer.  He was the widower of Viola Cox 
Satterfield and the son of the late John Benson and Mary Lou Cowan Satterfield. 
Surviving are daughters, Lutrelle Hayes and Bertha Ann Reece of Jacksonville, 
and Bobby Jean Durile of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; a sister, Hannah Arve of 
Walhalla; seven grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren.  Services were at 2 
p.m. Friday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Revs. Dr. James A. 
Kirkpatrick and Charles E. Reichenbach. Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Davenport Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
