Obituary of REID, MARTHA LOUISE JANE EATON   1912 Oconee, SC

    Mrs. Lucy Reid, wife of D. S. Reid, died at her home in the Pleasant Hill 
section of Oconee on Sunday, May 26th, after an illness of about three months.  
She was 67 years of age.  She leaves her husband and seven children to mourn 
her death.  Two children preceded her to the grave. Mrs. Reid was a daughter of 
the late Lewis Eaton.  She was a consistent member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist 
church, and her remains were interred in the cemetery of that church on Monday, 
May 27th, after funeral services conducted by Rev. J. H. Clark.  The family 
have the sympathy of many friends in their sorrow.
