Obituary of REID, IDA SUTTLES 1988 Oconee, SC

     Westminster--Mrs. Ida Suttles Reid, 97, of Route 3, Coffee Road, widow of 
John Reid died Thursday, April 28, 1988, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  Born in 
Oconee county, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Dovie Cobb Suttles.  
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.     Surviving 
are sons, Luke and Fred Reid of Walhalla, Jim Reid of Salem, Bob and Jack Reid 
of Arnold, Mo., and Hubert Reid of Desoto, Mo.; daughters, Mrs. Frances Morris 
of Walhalla, Mrs. Nannie Smith and Mrs. Annie Mae Waters of Westminster, Mrs. 
Gladys Ember of Arnold, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Hampson of Fenton, Mo.; brothers, 
Hoyt Suttles of Seneca and Jess Suttles of Westminster; a sister, Mrs. Pearl 
Collins of Westminster; 28 grandchildren, and 49 great-grandchildren, and two 
great-great-grandchildren.    Services were at 4 p. m. Sunday at Davenport 
Funeral Home chapel conducted by the Revs. Ray Lamb and Hugh McAlister.  Burial 
was in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
