Obituary of ROACH, H. I. "KYE"  1949 Oconee, SC

H. I. "Kye" Roach
    H. I. "Kye" Roach, 70, died at his home near West Union Friday afternoon at 
2 o'clock.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Phillips Roach;  one daughter, 
Mrs. Wyatt Keown, West Union;  two sons, C. T. Roach, Seneca, and Ansel Roach, 
Greenville;  ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  Funeral services 
were held from Double Springs Baptist church Sunday afternoon, conducted by 
Rev. Clayton Garrett.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  The following 
nephews served as pallbearers:  James Taylor, Robert and Grady Albertson, 
Charlie Crumpton, George Patton and Charlie Roach. Flower girls were nieces.
