Obituary of REID, AMANDA LITTLETON

   Mrs. Arch T. Reid, 72 years of age, daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. 
Daniel Littleton, died at her home her last Saturday afternoon at 5:25 o'clock 
after an illness of several months.  She is survived by her husband; four 
daughters, Mrs. H. T. Crenshaw, Mrs. R. P. Farmer, Mrs. Fannie Sanders and Mrs. 
W. P. Erwin; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Rankin and Mrs. Will L. Littleton; two 
brothers, Tom M. and John Littleton; 16 grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were conducted from the home Sunday 
afternoon at 4 o'clock by the Rev. Mack Goss and the Rev. P. F. Capell.  Burial 
followed in West View cemetery.  The following grandsons and nephews served as 
pallbearers:  Carson and Chris Crenshaw, DeWitt, Roy, and Woodrow Littleton and 
Louis Chapman.  A large crowd attended the funeral of Mrs. Reid, and she was 
held in high esteem and was a much loved and kindly woman, as is also her 
husband, to whom, with all others of the bereaved family is extended the 
deepest sympathy of many friends.
