PATTERSON, TILLMAN MACK Keowee Courier, December 21, 1988 WALHALLA -Tillman Mack Patterson, 83, of Route 3, Playground Road, widower of Gertha Edney Patterson, died Friday, December 16, 1988 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Wayne and Ida Galloway Patterson. He was a retired painter and member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church No. 1 in Jocassee. Surviving are sons, Sherman Patterson of the home and Orvil Patterson of Pickens; daughters, Mrs. Lois Galloway and Mrs. Martha Morgan of Walhalla, Mrs. Virginia Baldwin of Easley, Mrs. Ovaline Hood of Mountain Rest, and Mrs. Katherine Lusk of West Union; brothers, T.B. Patterson of Longview, Washington and Eliam Patterson of Walhalla; half brothers, L.C., Ray and George Patterson of Walhalla, and Jesse R. Patterson of Sebring, Fla.; sisters, Cora Madden of Seneca and Nancy Alexander of Pendleton; a half-sister, Rose Lee Patterson of Wisconsin; 38 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Services were at 3 m. Sunday at Davenport Funeral Home chapel conducted by the Revs. Frankie Porter and James Bolt.
