Obituary of MOODY, ROBERT RAY 1989 Oconee, SC Keowee Courier, May 17, 1989 Walhalla---Robert Ray Moody, 67, of Walhalla, died Sunday, May 14, 1989 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Christopher Columbus and Katie Catherine Albertson Moody. He was a retired upholsterer and was a Baptist. Surviving are sons, Gerald and Wayne Moody of South Carolina; a brother, Harold Moody of Anderson; and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Manley of Seneca. Graveside services will be at 4 p. m. Wednesday at Neville Cemetery. Davenport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Moore; five sons, W. T. and James Moore of Westminster, Floyd, Marvin and Frank Moore of Walhalla; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Blackwell and Mrs. Nelleree Burdette of Westminster; two brothers, J. C. and Furman Moore of Westminster; six sisters, Mrs. Dessie Derrick and Mrs. Myrtle Roach of Westminster, Mrs. Mattie Suttles of Newry, Mrs. Marie Wilbanks, Mrs. Ruth Murphree and Mrs. Geneva Ertzberger of Walhalla; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
