Obituary of MINTON, MARTHA ELIZABETH  1931 Oconee, SC
Keowee Courier, October 7, 1931
   Mrs. Elizabeth Minton, 67, widow of T. N. Minton, died last Thursday morning 
at 8.30 o'clock at her home near Seneca. Surviving are three sons; Oscar of New 
Orleans, Albert and Clarence of Seneca, and one daughter, Mrs. J. L. Gilstrap, 
of Seneca. Twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive her. 
Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Friendship Methodist Church, 
Rev. Smith officiating. The interment was made in the Friendship cemetery.

Church No. 2, with burial in the church cemetery.  Davenport Funeral Home was 
in charge of arrangements.
