Mason Funeral Is Conducted
    Marshall Wesley Mason, 87, of Laurens, formerly of Westminster, died Sunday 
in Greenwood.  He is the son of the late John and-Martha Leathers Mason. He was 
a native of Oconee County, a retired cotton buyer, and was a member of the 
Westminster Baptist Church.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. T. H. Stewart of 
Rock Hill, and Mrs. George McDaniel of Laurens; one brother, Wilton Mason of 
Henderson, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Leila Hayes, Mrs. Lillie Brown and Mrs. 
Ida Powell all of Greenville and two grandsons.     Graveside services were 
held Monday in East View Cemetery in Westminster, with the Rev. James Burriss 
officiating.
