 Martin Funeral At Westminster
   Mrs. Mattie Hull Martin. 78, a resident of Westminster, died at her home 
Jan. 25 after several days of critical illness.  Mrs. Martin was a lifelong 
resident of Oconee county, a daughter of the late James and Martha Leathers 
Hull. She was widow of Julius M. Martin who died in 1950, She was a member of 
the Westminster Baptist Church, the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and the WMS of 
the church.  Survivors: two sons, James B. Martin and Fred G. Martin, both of 
Westminster; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Griffin and Mrs. William A. Seigler, 
both of Westminster; a brother, W. T: Hull of Westminster; a sister, Mrs. T. H. 
Cartledge of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at Westminster Baptist Church 
with the Revs. William Reames and M. J. Stansell officiating. Burial was in 
East View Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Tom Green, J. T. Brown, C. T: Abbott, Charles 
Barrett, Joe Morris and David Moon.
