Meiburg Rites Are Held Here
  Mrs. Emma Brandt Meiburg, 79, of South Boundary street, widow of Hampton 
Meiburg of Walhalla, died in a Columbia hospital Wednesday after several months 
of declining health. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Lewis of Albany, 
Ga.; one son, Corde H. Meiburg of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Julia B. (G. 
J.) Hunter of West Union and Miss Maggie Brandt of the home;  and four 
grandchildren.  Funeral services were conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church 
Friday by Rev. John H. Koch.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers 
were Conrad Brandt, Jake Brandt, George Hunter, Nelson Burnside, Snead 
Schumacher and Herman Hoffmeyer.  Ansel Funeral Home was in charge.
