Obituary of HUNNICUTT, TULON YOUNG 1903 Oconee, SC Keowee Courier, September 16, 1903 T. Y. Hunnicutt Killed at Tampa, Fla The remains of T. Y. Hunnicutt, who lost his life by accident due to the storm at Tampa, Fla., on Monday last, reached Seneca yesterday afternoon and were laid to rest at New Hope to-day at 11 o'clock. Mr. Hunnicutt was a motorman on the street railway, and attempted to remove a wire which bad blown down and lay across the track. It proved to be a "live" wire, and Mr. Hunnicutt received a shock that resulted in instant death. He was an excellent young man, a son of Mrs. M. E. Hunnicutt, of High Falls. , this county, and about a year ago married Miss Lila Abbott, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Abbott, who live near Walhalla.
