  Salem---Lillie Carolina Abercrombia Heaton, 88, of Star Route, widow of Arvil 
Heaton, died Friday.   Born in Laurens County, she was a member of Boone's 
Creek Baptist Church.  Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Harold C. Patterson, 
Mrs. Alloe Smith and Mrs. Essie Lee Smith of Salem, Mrs. Clovie Rigdon of 
Pickens, Mrs. Louise Harper of Westminster and Mrs. Blanche McCall of 
Autryville, N. C.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Services 
were Sunday at Boone's Creek Baptist Church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.  Davenport Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
