Fred Haulbrooks
    Walhalla--Fred Rufus Haulbrooks, 76, of Rt. 2, Flat Shoals Community, 
husband of Margie Rogers Haulbrooks, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 1990, at Oconee 
Memorial Hospital.  Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late John Aire 
Moore Haulbrooks.  He was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Co., member of 
the Chatooga Order of the Red Men and member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.  
Surviving are widow; daughters, Mrs. Dot Loudermilk, Mrs. Bonnie Holcombe of 
Walhalla, Mrs. Frances Pitts of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Peggy Smith of Westminster 
and Mrs. Sandra Smith of Seneca; stepbrothers, Johnny and Frank Haulbrooks of 
Seneca; sister, Mrs. Fannie Wallenzine of Greenville; stepsister, Mrs. Shirley 
Quarles of Anderson; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  Services were 
Saturday, December 1, 1990 at Flat Shoals Baptist Church with burial in Oconee 
Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, PO Box 245, 
Seneca, SC 29679
