Former Oconeean Dies At Miami
   John Edmund Hanvey, 67, of Miami, died last Wednesday after a long illness.  
A native of Greer, S.C., he formerly lived in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in 
Miami two months. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Oconee 
county.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii; a 
son, G. P. Hanvey of Miami; three brothers, Leslie Hanvey of Taylors, S.C., 
Woodrow Hanvey of Liberty, S.C., and Charles Hanvey of Dunlap, Tenn.; three 
sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bolding of GreenviIIe, S. C., Mrs. Sue Hudson and Mrs. 
Jennie Crain of Greer; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.   Funeral 
services and burial were in Miami.
