Obituary of HALL, JAMES CLARENCE 1960 Oconee, SC Keowee Courier, July 27, 1960 Clarence Hall Taken By Death James Clarence Hall, 56, of Walhalla, died Monday at his home alter several months of declining health and a brief illness. He was born and reared in Oconee county, a son of Mrs. Janie Thrift Hall of Walhalla and the late James E. Hall. He was a retired textile employee and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nora Moore Hall of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Doyle DuVall of Greenville, Miss Frances Hall and Miss Deborah Hall of the home; a son, Ronnie Hall of the home; two grandchildren; three brothers, Bud Hall of Ware Shoals, Broadus Hall of Walhalla, and Lester Hall of Baltimore, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Adams, Mrs. Dee Harden, Mrs. Clarence Hellams and Mrs. Clayton Wilbanks, all of Walhalla. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Davenport Funeral Home by the Rev. G. F. Dempsey and the Rev. Frank Rochester. Burial was in Evergreen I Memorial Gardens.
