Lester W. Hall Laid to Rest

    Funeral services for Lester W. Hall, 50, formerly of Walhalla, who died in 
Baltimore, Md., were held Tuesday at Davenport Funeral Home with the Rev. 
George Johnson officiating.  Burial was in West View Cemetery.  Pallbearers:  
Derrill Hellams, W. L. and Laylon Adams, Gaston Harden, Jimmy and Frank Hall.   
Mr. Hall was born in Oconee county, a son of the late James E. and Janie Thrift 
Hall.  He was a World War II veteran.  Survivors:  widow, Mrs. Mary Meredith 
Hall of Baltimore; two brothers, Bud Hall of Ware Shoals and Broadus Hall of 
Walhalla; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Adams, Mrs. Alice Harden, Mrs. Clayton 
Wilbanks, and Mrs. Clarence Hellams; all of Walhalla.
