     Walhalla--Mrs. Lorena Adams Garrett, 57, of 103 West South Boundary 
Street, wife of Jake F. Garrett, died Sunday at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  Born 
in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lester W. and Martha Hall 
Adams.  She was a retired employee of Minette Manufacturing Company and a 
member of Walhalla Church of God No. 1. Surviving are her husband of the home; 
sons, Mike Garrett of Walhalla and Terry Garrett of Seneca; a daughter, Mrs. 
Carolyn Woody of Forest Park, Ga.; a brother, W. L. (Runt) Adams of Walhalla 
and two grandchildren. Services were 4 p. m. Monday at Davenport Funeral Home 
Chapel, conducted by the Revs. George Tichenor and Ernest H. Chambers, Sr. 
Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park.
