Obituary of COBB, IDA BURTON  1983 Oconee County, SC

   MOUNTAIN REST - Mrs. Ida Burton Cobb, 74, of Whetstone Road, widow of the 
late Rowland Cobb, died Sunday. July 3 at her home.  Born in Oconee County, she 
was a daughter, of the late Jodie and Martha Moore Burton. She was a member of 
Holly Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker.  Surviving are sons, Melvin Cobb 
of Westminster and Sam Cobb of Mountain Rest; a daughter, Mrs. Stella Mae 
Pelfrey of Westminster; sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Woodall of Pickens and Mrs. Esther 
Blackwell of Westminster; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  
Services were at 8 p.m. Monday, at Holly Springs Baptist Church conducted by 
the Revs. Reginald Pressley and Haskell Lee, Burial was in the church cemetery.
Sandier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
