Obituary of COX, HENRY CLYDE  1989 Oconee County, SC

   WALHALLA - Henry Clyde Cox, 83, of Playground Road, husband of Lois Duncan 
Cox, died Thursday, February 16, 1989 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  Born in 
Oconee County, he was a son of the late James Henry and Lila Brown Cox. He was 
a retired machinist from Chicopee Manufacturing Company with 39 years of 
service, and a member of Walhalla First Baptist Church and the Blue Ridge 
Masonic Lodge No. 92.  Surviving are his widow; a son, Clyde D. Cox of 
Gainesville; a sister, Mrs. Madge C. Moss of Walhalla; one grandchild and two 
great-grandchildren.  Graveside services were at ll a.m. Saturday at Oconee 
Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. James H. Mizell.  Davenport Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.
