Obituary of BELL, JOHN ERNEST  1990 Oconee County, SC

   WEST UNION - John Ernest Bell, 79, of 1585 North, Highway 11, husband of 
Mary Anne Poore Bell, died Saturday, February 3, 19'0 at Oconee Memorial 
Hospital.  Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late John Mickler and 
Mary Lillian Moss Bell. He was a lifelong resident of Oconee County, was 
retired from Kenneth Mills, and was a Baptist.  Surviving are his widow; 
daughters, Anne Opperman of Seneca and Margaret Hood of West Union; a brother, 
Milford Bell of Walhalla; sisters, Janie Wyatt of Seneca and Irene Thomas of 
Brevard, N.C.; five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.  Services were at 
4 p.m. Monday at Brown's Funeral Home chapel, Seneca, conducted by the Rev. Don 
Smith. Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park.
