Obituary of ALBERTSON, JACKSON D.  1966 Oconee County, SC

     Jack D. Albertson, 91, of Bear Swamp community, died Friday at his home 
after an illness of two weeks.  A lifelong resident of Oconee County, son of 
the late Elijah and Emily Phillips Albertson, he was a retired merchant and a 
member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church.  Surviving are two sons, Edward C. 
Albertson of Walhalla and Sam F. Albertson of West Union; a daughter, Emma B. 
Collins of Walhalla; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral 
services were conducted Sunday at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church by Rev. Trenton 
Connelly and Rev. Roy Burgner.  Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park.      
Pallbearers were Sidney Thornton, Sam Bottoms, Styles Rochester, and Grady, 
Robert and Jay Albertson.
