CLIFTON F.  ADAMS
   SENECA - Clifton Freeman "Jeeper" Adams II, 50 of Friendship Community died 
March I7, 1990 at Greenville Memorial Hospital following several weeks of 
serious illness. He was a member of Seneca Baptist Church, a graduate of 
Clemson University and retired from Adams Oil Company.  Surviving are his wife, 
Barbara Jean Welborn Adams; a son, Clifton F. (Jasper) Adams III, with the U.S. 
Army in Germany; two daughters, Brigitte Thompson of Walhalla and, Natasha 
Adams of Seneca; a brother, Robert C. (Bobby) Adams of Seneca; two step-sons, 
Jason Revis and Douglas Blackwell, both of the home; and two stepdaughters, 
daughters, Annette Queen of Townville and Anita Mills of Seneca.  Services were 
at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Seneca Baptist Church with burial in Oconee Memorial 
Park.  Brown's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Memorials may be 
made to the American Heart Association, Oconee Chapter, Box 86, Salem, SC 29675.
