Charles Edward Tulledge, 93, of Beaufort, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, 
at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6
to 8 p.m. today at Copeland Funeral Home. A prayer service begins at 
8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. 
Peter's Catholic Church, with burial in Beaufort Memorial Gardens. Mr. 
Tulledge was born Sept. 11, 1909, in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of Louise 
Julia Eberle Tulledge and Fabian Haley Tulledge. Survivors include a 
daughter, Susan Fitzgibbons of Beaufort; a son, Charles Thomas Tulledge
of Depew, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made St. 
Peter's Catholic Church "Upon this Rock" Building Campaign, 71 Lady's 
Island Drive, Beaufort, SC 29907.
