Patricia Lee Norton Rodriguez, 56, of Beaufort, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 
2003, at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. The family
will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Copeland Funeral 
Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Carteret Street Untied 
Methodist Church, with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. 
Rodriguez was born July 18, 1946, in Atlanta, a daughter of Faye 
Thomas Norton and Omar Dudley Norton. She was a homemaker and had 
previously worked as an executive secretary in the hospitality 
industry on Hilton Head Island and Hawaii. Survivors include her 
mother of Beaufort; her husband, Augustine Ray Rodriguez of Beaufort; 
two daughters, Tanya M. Rivera of Asheville, N.C., and Cynthia M. 
Brown of Beaufort; a stepdaughter, Julia Rodriguez of Bremerton, 
Wash.; two stepsons, Rick Rodriguez of Kennewick, Wash., and David 
Rodriguez of Bremerton, Wash.; two sisters, Nancy Rozier of Darien, 
Ga., and Mary Ann Green of Columbia; and 12 grandchildren.
