The Rev. Dr. Aubrey Floyd, the Rev. Larry Roberts and Dr. Ralph Lattimore officiated. Burial with Masonic rites followed in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Gregg, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at Lancaster Convalescent Center in Lancaster. Born in Shell Creek, Tenn. on Oct. 19, 1918, he was a son of the late Oliver Henry Gregg and Rhoda Sheppard Gregg. A retired supervisor with J.P. Stevens Co., Mr. Gregg was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and treasurer of the Ready Sunday school class. He attended Great Falls schools, was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the Great Falls Masonic Lodge No. 277. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Looper Gregg; a daughter, Carleen Wade of Fort Lawn; three grandchildren, Lynn McMurray, Teresa Edwards Mell and Bobby Joe Edwards Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Louise Gregg of Rock Hill. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 606 Dearborn St., Great Falls.
