Camille Julia Popp Winters, 88, of Beaufort, widow of George Winters, 
died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Memorial 
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Copeland Funeral Home. Mrs. 
Winters was born Sept. 16, 1914, a daughter of Bessie Polivka Popp and 
Kamel Popp. She was a member of Royal Pines Country Club. Survivors 
include a daughter, Candy Hammel of VanWyck; a grandchild and a 
great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Friends of Caroline Hospice,
1110 13th St., Port Royal, S.C. 29935; or, American Lung Association 
of South Carolina, Coastal Region, 1941 Savage Road, Suite 200-A, 
Charleston, S.C. 29407-4789.
