RIDGELAND -- Robert Simmons, 87, of Ridgeland, died Saturday, Oct. 12,
2002, in Ridgeland Nursing Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday 
at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, with burial in Ferebeeville 
Cemetery, Ridgeland. Mr. Simmons was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Ridgeland, 
a son of Lucinda Williams Simmons and Jim Simmons. He was a former 
employee of Whitner-Dwyer Lumber Co., and a former member of the 
Civilian Conservation Corps. Survivors include a sister, Louise 
Simmons of Ridgeland.
