The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Young Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Pocotaligo, with burial in Jenkins Cemetery, Mackey's Point Planatation, Pocotaligo. Mr. Poacher was born Dec. 26, 1954, in Jasper County, a son of Janie Louise Brown Poacher and Earnest Poacher Sr. He attended the public schools of Jasper County. He was a former employee of Morris Platt Construction Co., Ridgeland, and the Riley Concrete Construction Co., Point South. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Brown. Survivors include a daughter, Katina Bozeman of Oceanside, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Felicia Robinson of Coosawhatchie; three sons, Nathaniel Robinson, Trevor Robinson and Antonio Robinson of Coosawhatchie; two sisters, Neather Witter and Juanita Farmer of Yemassee; a brother, Earnest Poacher Jr. of Yemassee; three grandchildren and 14 step-grandchildren. *********************************************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commerical individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
