MORGANTON, N.C. -- Mary Lengnick Phillips, 91, of Morganton, died Jan.
7, 2002, in Grace Ridge Healthcare Facility, Morganton. 
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Helena's
Episcopal Church cemetery. Mrs. Phillips was born Nov. 5, 1910, in 
Beaufort, a daughter of Florence Woods Lengnick and John Lengnick. She 
attended the University of North Carolina and was a certified dietician 
at Watts Hospital, Durham, N.C. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood 
and St. Helena's Episcopal Church.  Memorials may be made to St. Helena's 
Episcopal Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1043, Beaufort, SC 29901.
Anderson Funeral Home is in charge.
