Bryant D. Fersner Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Mr. Mobley, 49, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at his home. Born in Charleston on Feb. 27, 1953, he was a son of John M. Mobley and the late Eileen “Sal” Reeves Mobley. A graduate of George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Va., and Union College in Barbourville, Ky., he was employed as a paralegal associate with Johnston, Allison and Hord of Charlotte. Mr. Mobley attended First Baptist Church of Kershaw. Survivors include his wife, Kim Mixon Mobley; two daughters, Kathleen Mobley of Cicero, Ind., and Morgan Mobley of Corbin, Ky.; two step-sons , Michael N. Billings and Joshua L. Billings, both of Fort Lawn; his father, John M. Mobley of Kershaw; and a brother, Charles “Chuck” Mobley of Savannah, Ga. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends at the home, 2291 Ellison Circle, Lancaster.
