The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Sauls Funeral Home, Ridgeland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at The First Baptist Church of Hardeeville, with burial in Maye River Cemetery, Okatie. Mrs. Lassiter was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Englehard, N.C., a daughter of Stella Berry Williams and Rufus Williams. She owned and operated Lassiter's Department Store in Hardeeville for 45 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville, the Women's Missionary Union and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, David A. Lassiter of Hardeeville, and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville Building Fund, P.O.
