Mr. Hoyler was born June 5, 1983, in Washington, a son of Katherine McMillan Hoyler and Hamilton Marshall Hoyler. He was a 2001 graduate of H. B. Woodlawn High School in Arlington, Va., and was a student at Colorado College. Survivors include his parents of Warren, R.I.; three sisters, Marguerite McMillan Hoyler, Georgia Hopkins Hoyler and Elizabeth Talcott Hoyler of Warren; a maternal grandmother, Sheila McMillan of Medford, N.J.; a maternal grandfather, Dr. Thomas McMillan of Medford; an aunt, Molly Gray of Beaufort; an uncle, John Gray of Beaufort; and a great-aunt, Marguerite Broz of Beaufort.
