The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Washington's Funeral Home, Hampton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Antioch Christian Church, Varnville, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 19, 1903, in Miley, a daughter Rosalee Collins and Jess Collins. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Varnville, where she served as church secretary for many years. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church Missionary Society and the Hampton County Branch of the NAACP. She served as past worthy matron of the Glad Tiding Chapter No. 48 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was founder of the Secret Pals Club of Varnville. In 1991 she and her family were named Regional Family of the Year by the state of South Carolina. Survivors include four sons, Hugh Kyler Davis of Beaufort, Mack E. Davis of Maryland, Thomas J. Davis of Washington and Lee B.
