Thomasine Pellum Avant, 77, of Beaufort, widow of Hurley Herman Avant,
died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital.  The 
family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Anderson Funeral 
Home.  Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Beaufort 
National Cemetery.
