Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mr. Yates was born in Columbus, Ga., the son of Joe Lindsey and Louise Crowder Yates. He was a taxi driver for Checker Cab Company. He was a former member of the Army National Guard. Surviving are his wife of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Joe Randall Yates and William Timothy Yates, both of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Charles Perry Yates of Summerville, S.C.; one sister, Shirley Ann Yates of Florida; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Yates; one grandson, Johnny Randall Yates; one granddaughter, La Teisha Diane Yates.
