Wright, Sr., 58, a long shoreman with Delaware Water Front Port, died September 28, 2001 in Wilmington, Delaware. The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday (today), October 6, 2001, in Ebenezer C.M.E. Church, White Hall Community, Yemassee. Burial will be in Heyward Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born in White Hall and was the son of Rev. Cleveland Wright and Lovie Barnett Wright. He attended the public schools in Colleton County and was a member of Ebenezer C.M.E. Church. Surviving are his parents of White Hall; two sons, Willie Wright, Jr., Newark, Del. and Cleve Wright, Wilmington, Del.; two daughters, Lakisha Brady Robinson, New Castle, Del., and Maria Ushery, Wilmington, Del.; five brothers, Herman L. Wright, Solomon Wright, Edgar Wright, Cleveland Wright, Jr. and Jake Wright, all of White Hall; two sisters, Shirley Wright, White Hall and Deloris Wright, Wilmington, Del. and six grandchildren.
