Mr. Windham was born in Florence County, a son of the late Josey Mann and Mary Elizabeth Shepard Windham. He was a retired farmer and a member of Black Oak Hunting Club and also attended Christian Fellowship. Surviving are his wife, Mary Poston Windham of Pamplico; one daughter, Harriett (Jimmy) Graham of Lake City; three sons, Ronnie (Sue) Windham and Randy Windham both of Pamplico and Jerold Windham of Charleston; one sister, Louise W. Smithey of Scranton; three brothers, Roy (Ann) Windham of Timmonsville, Cecil Windham of Florence and Lewis (Marie) Windham of Marion; 10 grandchildren, Karen (Russell) McClary of Kingstree, Dean (Becky) Windham of Scranton, Brad (Lisa) Windham of Charleston, Wanda (Donnie) Springs of Scranton, Cindy (Jim) Hatcher of Cleveland, GA, Patty (Michael) Brown of Lake City, Sandra (Don) Gaskins of Hartsville, Kristi (Mike) Provau of Pamplico, Marty Windham of Pamplico and Glenda Windham of Charlotte, NC and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Windham was predeceased by one grandson, Scott Windham; one brother, Gene Windham; two sisters, Ruth Windham and Elizabeth Barnes. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2001, in the Stone Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Pamplico, SC. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Stone Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1996 W. Highway 378, Pamplico, SC 29583.
