Burial will be private.Mr. Williams was born October 13, 1921, in Appalachia, VA, the son of Benjamin Franklin Williams and Clara Moss Williams.He was a graduate of the Citadel, a member of Elks Lodge 262. He was the Charter President of Old Charlestowne Sertoma Club, and a former member of the Exchange Club of Charleston. He was a retired realtor and former credit manager for GMAC. Mr. Williams also served in the U.S. Air Force.Survivors include his wife, Fran Kilian-Williams; three daughters, Teena Williams Martindale of Charleston, SC, Derrill Leigh Williams Harter of Fairfax, SC, Tamara J. Williams Thompson of Kiawah, SC; one brother, Benjamin Franklin Williams, Jr. of Roanoke, VA and seven grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Elks Lodge 242, Educational Fund, 1113 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., Charleston, SC, 29407.
