Roberta Chace Wershey, 71, of Summerville, widow of Edward John 
Wershey, died Friday in a Mount Pleasant Hospital.Memorial Service 
will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at 7 o'clock in Bethany 
United Methodist Church. Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, 
memorials may be made to: Bethany United Methodist Church Building 
Fund: 18 West 3rd South Street, Summerville, SC 29483.Friends may call 
at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o'clock this 
evening.Born on April 27, 1930, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, a 
daughter of Robert Chace and Anna May Little Chace. She was a 1948 
graduate of New Bedford High School in Massachusetts. She was a 
homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of Bethany United 
Methodist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Stone of Hanahan, 
SC; son Robert Carbonaro of Goose Creek, SC; 2 step-daughters, Judith
Adams of California and Catherine Kroeger of Massachusetts; 7 
grandchildren; 2 sisters, Frances Herman of Massachusetts and Cynthia 
Wood of Florida. Arrangements by JAMES A. DYAL FUNERAL HOME, 303 SOUTH
