Ward of Atlanta, GA., died at age 73 on Tuesday, September 25, 2001. The funeral service was held in Lawrenceville, GA., September 28, 2001. Born in Charleston, SC., he lived in Atlanta, GA., for the past twenty-seven years. Ward 29445.worked as a manager at Condon's Department Store and Taylor's Men's Wear. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, The French Society, and The Exchange Club. He served as a Commissioner on the City of Charleston Board of Fire Masters and was disaster chairman and volunteer of the American Red Cross. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII and served in China. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ward; daughter, Debbie Patterson, and son, Brett Ward of Atlanta; by his son, Buddy Ward and daughter, Terri Skinner of Charleston, SC., and by son, Michael Ward in Honolulu, HI; and ten grandchildren.
