"Flo" Wallace, 68, of Lakewood Ave., died Tuesday morning, October 16, 2001, at a Charleston hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2001, at the Church of the Nazarene of Georgetown. Burial directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKENZIE FUNERAL HOME, will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, October 17, 2001, beginning at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Mrs. Wallace was born January 27, 1933, in Georgetown County, a daughter of Willie Haun and Rena Bourne Haun. She was the owner and operator of Flo's Fashions; a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Georgetown where she served on the church board and was a Sunday School teacher. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a Christian example. She was predeceased by a grandson, John Robert Strueber. Surviving in addition to her husband, John Henry Wallace of Georgetown, are, one son, John Willie "Johnny" Wallace of Charleston; two daughters, Wanda W. Holt and her husband, Wendell, of Georgetown, and Gloria W. Strueber and her husband, Dan, of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
