Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, at Faith Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Smoak Cemetery. Directed by the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. Mr. Tripp was born in Vanceboro, N.C., a son of the late Lee Drew Tripp and Tiny Wiggins Tripp. He was a farmer and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Smoak Tripp, a daughter, Wanda Tripp Nixon of Walterboro and her husband, James Grey Nixon, two brothers, Marvin Tripp and Dink Tripp, both of Ruffin, and two sisters, Joyce Brantly of Goldsboro, N.C., and Sudie Hudson of Grifton, N.C.
